Dr. Avi Jager completed his Ph.D. at the War Studies department of King’s College London while working as an adjunct university lecturer at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC) Herzliya. Avi served as a reconnaissance officer and team commander in the IDF Special Forces, upon his discharge, Avi served for three years in the Prime Minister's Office. Avi earned his B.A. in government from IDC and graduated with honors as a member of the Argov Fellows Class of 2015. He then completed his master’s degree in terrorism, security and society from King’s College, where he worked for two years as a research and teaching assistant. Avi’s research topics are the changing character of war, military strategy, and military innovation and adaptation.
