Mr. Yotam Dagan
A former Shayetet 13 (Israeli Navy SEALs) commander, a certified clinical
psychologist with expertise in Combat stress reaction (PTSD) and a hostage
negotiator, Yotam has been for many years, on the constant move between leading
soldiers on the battle field to building their fighting capacity, developing their
leadership skills and caring for their wellbeing. Upon completion of his military
tenure, Yotam co-founded programs helping army veterans reintegrate and take
leading positions in the Israeli public service and civil society. Yotam works to
strengthen the Israeli society and promote resiliency in the face of war and terror
related psychological trauma, mostly by facilitating effective crisis management
and leadership in communities and organizations. Yotam leads NATAL – Israel’s
center for trauma and resilience international team and has been instrumental in
sharing Israeli experience and best practices in many places around the world.
Yotam holds a BA in psychology, history and philosophy and a MA in clinical
psychology from the university of Haifa, Israel and a Master’s degree in public
administration at the John F. Kennedy School of government at Harvard University.
