Yaniv Cohen is the Executive Director of the Abba Eban Institute for International Diplomacy, Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy and Strategy, IDC Herzliya. Prior to joining IDC, Yaniv lived in New York City and was the SVP Development of the America-Israel Friendship League (a pro-Israel non-profit organization). Between 2009 and 2015 Yaniv worked as a corporate M&A attorney with the Tel Aviv firm of Naschitz, Brandes, Amir and Co., where he progressed from intern to senior associate; he is also a board member in two startups (one social and one business-oriented). Yaniv holds an MBA (International Program), LLB Law and B.A in Governance, Diplomacy and Strategy (Magna Cum Laude), all from IDC Herzliya. Yaniv also serves as Major in the IDF Reserves. He is married to Shlomit, a CEO/co-founder of a high-tech company, and father to Nittai (4) and Yaheli (1).
