Dr. Rateb Mohammad Amro is the Director General and Founder of Horizon

Strategic Studies in Ammam, Jordan. He served as the director of the Occupied

Territories in the Jordan Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1987 to 1995 and served

twenty years as Colonel in Jordan's Armed Forces.

Dr. Amro received his PhD in political science from Ain-Shamess University in Egypt.

He is the author of numerous articles analyzing the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and its

affects on Jordan.
