Prof. Pinchas Halpern

Professor Pinchas (Pinny) Halpern is a Research Fellow

at the International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT)

at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya.

He trained in Diving and Hyperbaric Medicine at the Israeli

Navy Diving Medical Institute, in Anesthesia & Intensive

Care at Rambam and Ichilov Hospitals and the Ohio State

University.

 

Prof. Halpern is Chair, Emergency Department, TASMC,

Associate Clinical Professor in Anesthesia, Critical Care

and Emergency Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Visiting

Professor at the Universities of Eastern Piedmont, and the

Free University of Brussels, Past President of the Israeli

Association for Emergency Medicine, member of the

Magen David Adom Board of Directors, Chair of its Medical

Advisory Committee, Past Member of the Board of Directors of WADEM. Led training and clinical missions in EM & Disaster Medicine to Ethiopia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Jordan, Poland, and USA as well as participated in disaster relief efforts in the Turkey earthquake.
