James is the Commander responsible for the City of London

Police Reserve, incorporating Special Constables, Volunteers and

associated corporate partnerships, and is developing national

policy in each of these areas. Prior to this, he was responsible for

developing the City of London Police Economic Crime Academy

and was Detachment Commander of the Honourable Artillery

Company's Police Detachment.  James has served as a special

constable in various forces for 24 years.
