Today, almost every region is vulnerable to the threat of terrorism, with each country dealing with its own variation of the phenomenon. With shifting geopolitical situations around the globe, terrorists change agendas, locations and targets. This plenary session will examine the currents trends of global jihad in different theatres around the world, while also exploring the ideologies that drive the different global jihadi groups and how they stay relevant.
