Ms. Gabriela Ben David
Gabriela was born in 1984 in Prague, Czech Republic.
Gabriela has been involved in Jewish communities’ security and
crisis management since 2007, when she began to work for the
Security Department of the Jewish Community in Prague.
In 2013 Gabriela established together with other experts from the
Jewish communities a SACC (Security and Crisis Center) project
under the umbrella of EJC.
In 2015 she was one of the co-founders of the “Soft Targets
Protection Institute” in Prague, where she focused mostly on crisis
management for non-sectarian schools and conferences.
In 2015 Gabriela started to work for Security Department of the
World Jewish Congress, where she has been running the global community crisis management project (www.saccworld.com). She continues to contribute in the development of community-crisis-management domain with all its aspects. So far, more than 25 communities around the world have gone through her intensive crisis management trainings.
Together with team of experts Gabriela has also been building innovative programs for crisis management in schools.
Gabriela gained a lot of field experience while assisting in unfortunate community crisis situations in the past few years for example the Brussels attack in 2014 or Copenhagen attack in 2015 and other.
Gabriela holds a Masters in Diplomacy and Conflict Studies from the Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya, Israel, which she received in 2010.
Gabriela recently made “aliya” and currently lives with her husband in Yafo-Tel Aviv.
