Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis

Brigadier General Ronen Manelis was born in 1979 and

enlisted in 1997 to the Intelligence Corps, where he

served in various field intelligence positions.

 

1999-2000 - Intelligence officer of the Reconnaissance Company

of the Paratroopers Brigade.

2003-2005 - Intelligence officer of the Samaria Regional Brigade.

2005-2006 – Commander of the Intelligence Corps Officer's

Course.

2006 - Military Assistant to the Head of the Operations Directorate.

2006-2008 - Military Assistant to the Commander of the Northern

Command.

2009-2010 – Section Head at the Intelligence Directorate's

Research Department.

2010-2010 - Head of the Lebanese Branch in the Northern

Command Intelligence Department.

2012-2012 – Chief Intelligence Officer of the Gaza Division.

2014-2014 – Chief Intelligence Officer of the Depth Corps.

2015-2017 - Assistant to the Chief of the General Staff.

2017-2019- Cheif Spokesperson.

 

Brig. Gen. Ronen Manelis holds a BA in History from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a MA in Political Science from the Tel Aviv University.

Brig. Gen. Manelis is married and has two children.
