Dr Kristy Campion is a Lecturer in Terrorism Studies at the Australian

Graduate School of Policing and Security at Charles Sturt University

, Australia. As a historian of terrorism, her research has focused on

how historical manifestations can inform understandings of

contemporary and emerging terrorist threats. Most recently,

she has investigated the persistence of right wing extremism

in Australia, with reference to domestic and transnational

networks in the subcultural milieu. Her most recent paper,

due for release in October 2019, examines the narratives

within Australian right wing extremist manifestos to better

understand the ideological contours of the threat.
