Dr Kristy Campion is a Lecturer in Terrorism Studies at the Australian
Graduate School of Policing and Security at Charles Sturt University
, Australia. As a historian of terrorism, her research has focused on
how historical manifestations can inform understandings of
contemporary and emerging terrorist threats. Most recently,
she has investigated the persistence of right wing extremism
in Australia, with reference to domestic and transnational
networks in the subcultural milieu. Her most recent paper,
due for release in October 2019, examines the narratives
